ISO Certification
ISO Certification is based on a set of international standards for Quality, Safety, Environmental , Corporate and Social Responsibility Management. Quality Assurance is developed to help companies improve Business Operations. The Quality System elements can be implemented to maintain an efficient Management System. They are not specific to any one industry and can be applied to organisations of any size. ISO 9000 can help a company satisfy its customers, meet regulatory requirements and achieve continual improvement. It should be considered to be a first step of a Quality System, not a complete guarantee of Quality.
Quality Management Systems does not aim to assure 'good quality' by the more fit for purpose definition, but rather to ensure that an organisation or product is consistent. This can be considered to have four main components: Quality Planning, Quality Control, Assurance and Quality Improvement. Quality management is focused not only on product service and quality, but also the means to achieve it.
Quality Management therefore uses Quality Assurance and control of processes as well as products to achieve more consistent Quality.
